Spicy Hot Chocolate Cookies

The second time I made these I used jumbo eggs instead of large eggs. The cookies spread out too much and were very thin at the edges! I think that shows what happens with too much liquid in the dough.

325 degree oven

Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in top of double boiler

Beat brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla together.

Whisk together the dry ingredients

When butter/chocolate has cooled enough that it won't cook the eggs, add to the sugar/egg mixture and beat well.

Gradually mix in dry ingredients

Add chocolate chips, mix in

Bake 14 minutes at 325 F
