Pizza Dough
This is a good quantity for three pizzas or six zaatar breads or lahmejuns.
I once was looking at refrigerated pizza dough in a supermarket and said, mostly to myself, "I wonder if it's any good, or should I just make it". One of the kids working at the market said, "If you have the time, I'd go with homemade."
- 1 1/4 C warm water
- 1 T yeast
- 1/2 t sugar
- 1 t salt
- 2 T oil
- 2 1/2 to 3 C white flour
Dissolve yeast and sugar in water
Add salt and oil
Add enough flour to make dough; knead, let rise.
