Irish Caraway Raisin Bread

It is her grandmother's recipe.
I haven't made it as of 2020-08-07.
- 2 1/2 C flour
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C butter, chilled
- 1 egg
- 1 C sour cream
- 1/2 C milk
- 1 1/2 C raisins, floured (i.e. mixed with 1 t of flour)
- 1 t caraway seeds
Preheat oven to 375 and grease a loaf pan.
Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Work in butter with fingers or pastry blender.
Beat egg, sour cream, and milk together.
Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix just to combine.
Add floured raisins and caraway seeds, mix well.
Put dough into prepared pan.
Bake 50 minutes
Allow to cool somewhat before slicing.
